We also pioneered and manage the now globally-recognized ShopperTrak Index, a set of national trend indexes measuring shopper numbers, which is relied upon by retailers and shopping centers across the globe as a consistent and trusted performance benchmark.  About the role Reporting to General Manager, the Account Manager will be responsible for managing account relationships, retention, growth and engagement of clients with a focus on generating revenue from our existing account base. Duties & Responsibilities:Increase revenue from existing key retail accounts by securing and extending long term contractsSelling new ShopperTrak products and services range to our existing clienteleAchieve the required renewal rate of existing accounts through retention initiativesKnowledge of the accounts to understand clients requirementsBe able to understand our clients challenges & and advise how our product range can support their businessContribute to the delivery of the SEA Marketing plan to drive revenues by leveraging existing Account relationships and external Marketing agency resources.Liaising with our sales and marketing division to develop & promote campaignsContract & account management by ensuring client contracts are actively managed including renewal dates, opt-outs, and preparation of new contractsCo-ordinate technical pre-sales supportBe able to provide a Solution presentation, through scope and proposal developmentsConsistent and timely sales reporting, pipeline management and activity recordingEnsure all products and services are delivered in a timely manner as per their contractsCollaborate with Implementation, Client Services and Support  teams to ensure timeliness and quality of all services to a high standardConduct regular Work In Progress (WIP) meetings internally and with clients as requiredPrepare client reports as contracted and / or necessary to ensure clients are informed of performance against objectivesMaintain a strong understanding of relevant client business objectives and ensure services provided are focused on contributing to the achievement of these objectivesActively contribute to continuous improvement of ShopperTrak as a businessDevelop successful relationships with third party partners and suppliers building collaboration and industry credibility for ShopperTrak Skills and experience5- 8 years of experience is account management within Retail/SASS/Technology etcDemonstrated customer service experienceDemonstrated experience in the preparation, renewal, and management of client contractsExcellent presentation, oral and written communication skillsAbility to implement & improve processesUnderstanding of relevant digital marketing disciplines and principlesDemonstrated experience in reporting and presentation preparationDemonstrated experience working effectively as part of a team, showing strong collaboration and resourcefulnessA diligent work ethic and the drive to extend beyond what is requiredHigh Volume Sales experienceRelationship management experience or BDMBeing able to fit into a small close-knit team    75000 AUD North Sydney 2060

About the role

 

Reporting to General Manager, the Account Manager will be responsible for managing account relationships, retention, growth and engagement of clients with a focus on generating revenue from our existing account base.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Increase revenue from existing key retail accounts by securing and extending long term contracts
  • Selling new ShopperTrak products and services range to our existing clientele
  • Achieve the required renewal rate of existing accounts through retention initiatives
  • Knowledge of the accounts to understand clients requirements
  • Be able to understand our clients challenges & and advise how our product range can support their business
  • Contribute to the delivery of the SEA Marketing plan to drive revenues by leveraging existing Account relationships and external Marketing agency resources.
  • Liaising with our sales and marketing division to develop & promote campaigns
  • Contract & account management by ensuring client contracts are actively managed including renewal dates, opt-outs, and preparation of new contracts
  • Co-ordinate technical pre-sales support
  • Be able to provide a Solution presentation, through scope and proposal developments
  • Consistent and timely sales reporting, pipeline management and activity recording
  • Ensure all products and services are delivered in a timely manner as per their contracts
  • Collaborate with Implementation, Client Services and Support  teams to ensure timeliness and quality of all services to a high standard
  • Conduct regular Work In Progress (WIP) meetings internally and with clients as required
  • Prepare client reports as contracted and / or necessary to ensure clients are informed of performance against objectives
  • Maintain a strong understanding of relevant client business objectives and ensure services provided are focused on contributing to the achievement of these objectives
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement of ShopperTrak as a business
  • Develop successful relationships with third party partners and suppliers building collaboration and industry credibility for ShopperTrak

 

Skills and experience

  • 5- 8 years of experience is account management within Retail/SASS/Technology etc
  • Demonstrated customer service experience
  • Demonstrated experience in the preparation, renewal, and management of client contracts
  • Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to implement & improve processes
  • Understanding of relevant digital marketing disciplines and principles
  • Demonstrated experience in reporting and presentation preparation
  • Demonstrated experience working effectively as part of a team, showing strong collaboration and resourcefulness
  • A diligent work ethic and the drive to extend beyond what is required
  • High Volume Sales experience
  • Relationship management experience or BDM
  • Being able to fit into a small close-knit team
