Client: Brisbane Bullets Basketball Club Location: Brisbane Position: Full Time Closing Date: 27 September 2019The Brisbane Bullets Basketball Club is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to appoint to the position of Events & Production Manager.The Events & Production Manager is employed to provide event management and coordinate the planning and delivery of the production requirements across Brisbane Bullets Events and NBL Game Day. The position will work closely and be required to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders, suppliers, contractors, talent and vendors.The Events & Production must have strong event management and production experience, a service orientation, customer focus and possess strong organisational skills with high attention to detail. Key ResponsibilitiesLead, manage and support the Sport Presentation team - all technical operators, stage managers, talent and volunteers Plan, scope, coordinate and manage the delivery of Brisbane Bullets EventsManage relationships with suppliers, vendors, contractors, talent and venuesManagement of Event day allocated staff including Brisbane Bullets staff, event volunteers and interns, external contractors, talent and suppliersEnsure budget adherence, income achievement and expenditure controlRequired Skills and ExperienceHigh level of knowledge and experience in Event Management (Minimum 3-5 years' experience)High level of knowledge and experience in Production Management (Minimum 3-5 years' experience) including Showcalling/directing experienceSound technical knowledge of audio and live eventsA strong passion and interest in sport and/or BasketballCustomer-centric approachExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to evoke the cooperation of people across a wide range of organisationsStrong Management and supervisory skillsExcellent organisational skills with high attention to detailStrong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skillsStrong time management, written and verbal communications skills and the ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasksAdequate computer skills and information technology literacyPreparedness to be flexible in respect to work hours and travelA current drivers licenseEssential RequirementsRelevant Tertiary QualificationAttachmentsPD - Events & Production ManagerEmployer and Other DetailsThe Brisbane Bullets is a foundation club of the Australian National Basketball League (NBL) and has won 3 NBL Championships, being the first Brisbane based professional sporting club to win a Championship in any code.The Bullets returned to the NBL in 2016 following a 9 year absence and in only the 3rd season back in the league qualified for the Playoffs in the 2018-19 season. The Brisbane Bullets Basketball Club is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to appoint to the position of Events & Production Manager.

The Events & Production Manager is employed to provide event management and coordinate the planning and delivery of the production requirements across Brisbane Bullets Events and NBL Game Day. Key Responsibilities
