The hotel's philosophy is simple: we believe that great design, intuitive technology and exceptional service should be available at a great price.We are looking for a Guest Services Agent for the new, innovative and exciting BreakFree on Cashel!We are currently seeking a full time Guest Services Agent to join our team working 5 shifts a week based on a rotating roster.The duties and responsibilities will include:Provide guests with relevant information about the property's structure, services, local attractions and facilities.Maximising sales conversion rates.Maintains efficient operating procedures for the property's point of sale cashiering computer system, ensuring accuracy and balancing of till and the department cash float.Complete night auditing procedures and passes on the information to the Senior Duty Manager.Responsible for nightly audit of all front office transactions within the property.Prepare and distributes daily reports.Receive payments from departing guests and process as per company manuals.Ensuring the presentation of Reception during your shift is professional.Ensuring honest, direct, assertive, polite and consistent communication within and outside the Front Office Department.Ensure effective communication between other departments and management.Check in and checkout of hotel guests; Taking reservations & maintaining guest accounts; Assisting with all guest enquiries;Successful applicants will have:Excellent customer service skillsExcellent communication, interpersonal and time management skillsA friendly and outgoing personalityExcellent grooming and presentation skillsAbility to work well under pressure and remain calmA willingness to use initiative and solve problemsKnowledge of SIHOT or similar reservations system desirableExperience in a similar role within a hotel environmentTo succeed in the role and join one of the largest accommodation providers in Australia and New Zealand you must be passionate and motivated by success with a willingness to get involved wherever it is needed.  You will have a proven track record in inspiring and motivating people and fostering a positive, creative and rewarding culture.In return for your energy, hard work and sense of fun, we offer you discounted rates at our hotels, resorts and apartments in Australia and New Zealand. BreakFree Cashel Street is an innovative Christchurch hotel that opened in April 2015. The hotel's philosophy is simple: we believe that great design, intuitive technology and exceptional service should be available at a great price.

We are looking for a Guest Services Agent for the new, innovative and exciting BreakFree on Cashel!

We are currently seeking a full time Guest Services Agent to join our team working 5 shifts a week based on a rotating roster.
