You will have at least 5 years' experience working in commercial construction and be able to demonstrate your ability in:Management of safety and environmental processes;Coaching and support project teams in the implementation of the company's safety and environmental management systems;Knowledge and understanding of the implementation of relevant QHSE legislations and requirements;Undertaking safety inductions for workers on site including but not limited to reviewing SWMS and JSAs;Hosting and minuting Safety and Toolbox meetings with Subcontractors;Computer literacy and being able to monitor and review QHSE Software to ensure all incidents are recorded, investigated thoroughly and closed out;Building relationships with our subcontractors and monitoring compliance;Being proactive and jumping in where necessary to ensure a tidy and safe site, this includes installing bunting, flagging, organising waste removal, sweeping / cleaning site, etc.To be eligible for this position you must have as a minimum a Cert IV in Workplace Health and Safety.We are also looking for someone aligned with our vision and values. About You
