About the Role

Our Human Resources team provides strategic, client-focused HR services and support to our diverse, state-wide operations.  We are seeking a motivated and professional Administration Officer with experience, ideally supporting a busy HR team.

The main purpose of this position is to support AQ's transition to an electronic filing system, and support the Human Resources team in data and document management, recruitment and training processes. 

This position will be offered on a fixed-term, full-time basis until March 2022, with the possibility of extension, working Monday to Friday from our Acacia Ridge offices.

You will have demonstrated administrative skills and efficiency, ideally proven in a professional office environment over a minimum twelve-month period.   Your exceptional communication skills, impeccable attention to detail and service orientation will set you apart in this role. Candidates with a Certificate II or higher in Business Administration or studying towards a HR qualification and/or previous recruitment administration experience will be highly regarded.

The Blue Card legislation ‘No Card, No Start’ policy came into effect 31 August 2020 and New National NDIS Worker Screening Legislation came into effect 1 February 2021, requiring employees working with children and engaging in identified ‘risk-assessed’ roles to hold current Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance before they can commence work.   Candidates may wish to consider how their current NDIS Worker Screening and Blue Card status will affect their application for this position as a current NDIS Worker Screening and Blue Card/Exemption Card is an inherent requirement of the role prior to commencement.
