Spend your days analysing trends, creating new products and ensuring that when a customer needs our product, it’s in the right place for them. You’ll work closely with the brands you love to keep City Beach at the forefront of women’s fashion by shopping new season looks and using your knowledge of consumer behaviour and forecasts to deliver these products to our stores.
As an Admin Assistant you will be responsible for everything from Data entry, filing and general administration tasks, Processing purchase orders, Tracking and reporting through Excel through to liaising with suppliers and other external stakeholders and assisting the Buying Team with daily tasks.
Our Assistant Buyers work closely with their Buyer to monitor your products sales, allocate product stock based on performance and demand from our stores and coordinate appointments for buyers including range showings and supplier appointments. They create forecasts for new products and ranges and build relationships with suppliers and manage these throughout the product development process.
A Buyer in the Women’s team is responsible for sourcing products from local and international suppliers, forging strong relationships with suppliers often through travel and regular contact, analyse products to gauge performance and guide future decision making, monitor department and store comparisons and mentor and develop their Assistant Buyers into future leaders of the business.
